Conway Public Schools Foundation 2021 Friend of the District
Johnny is a Market President & CEO for First Security Bank in Conway, AR. First Security is an Arkansas based financial services company with over $6.5 billion in assets and over 75 locations across the State. He has led the bank in the region to place first in deposit market share and customer satisfaction and has served as a strategic leader with the bank's marketing team and customer engagement strategies.
In addition to his work at First Security, Johnny has been on the faculty of several banking schools and professional associations including the Barret School of Banking at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, The Arkansas Bankers Association Lending School and the Risk Management Association (RMA) teaching faculty, a Philadelphia based nation wide credit risk management organization. Johnny has led RMA classes on real estate lending and risk management in over 50 locations across the county.
He has been the recipient of several awards for his deep involvement in the community including the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award for his economic development role in helping land Hewlett-Packard to Conway. The Faulkner County Leadership Institute awarded him the Dan Nabholz Leadership Award in 2000 for his long time relationship with the community and service organizations. He currently serves as a supporting elder for Fellowship Bible Church of Conway.
Johnny serves on the board of the Conway Development Corporation, Conway Corporation, the University of Central Arkansas Alumni Board as well as the First Security Bank of Conway Advisory Board of Directors.
